Day 3 started with a dawn surf at 5.30am followed by breakfast and some well earned relaxing. We all knew this was an important day in the building process, time to put us all to the test. Almost none of the volunteers have experience of this kind of work, but with good management, a lot of enthusiasm and eagerness to learn almost anything is possible.

We gathered our volunteers and local workers, and led by Jaya we started up the concrete mixer and began with the first pour. We were all excited and a bit worried how this would go, but with good team work and timing we managed to pull it off! 15 sections to go...
