The building of the skate bowl has begun!

A crew of 14 surf crazy volunteers from Sweden, Australia amd USA lead by skate bowl guru Mr Jaya and by Filip Andersson who has designed the bowl are now at Surf camp Lombok to surf and build what will be a skate bowl with an amazing ocean view.

Material has been brought in from Praya and Mataram and now the building is in full speed. The first piece of coping is in place and hopefully we´ll start with the pour of the 1st section tomorrow.

Challenging? Yes, in many ways. We keep our fingers crossed that the weather, the electricity, the concrete mixer and the health and good spirits of our staff and volunteers will hold all the way...
